Excursion
The excursion will consist of two parts. A walking tour and sightseeing in the Old City, followed by wine-tasting in Raca.
14:30 - Old Town Walking Tour
We will walk approximately 10 minutes from Moyzes Hall to our meeting point in front of the Slovak National Theatre (SND) on Hviezdoslavovo Square,
where our Old Town tour will begin. From there, we will split into three groups and continue with a guided walking tour of the Old Town,
where we will see some of the city's best-known landmarks and learn more about their history and the stories behind them.
The tour will take around 2 hours, so please wear comfortable shoes.
You will need them for the next part of the program, too.
16:30 - Transfer to Raca
After the walking tour, we will take public transport (a tram) to Raca, a
district in Bratislava. The tickets for the public transport tickets will be provided.
17:00 - Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting
In Raca, we will visit the local vineyards and learn more about the area and its wine-growing tradition with an expert guide.
The tour will be followed by a wine tasting, after which we will continue to a vineyard tent where
Slovak specialities and cold platters will be served.
